I stay in Duluth, Minnesota, and have been gardening on this location for 26 years. That is the third time I’ve submitted pictures from my gardens. (See the earlier posts: A Backyard Stuffed with Artwork and Flowers and Revisiting Invoice’s Backyard.)
This time I’m submitting pictures taken by Sarah Jane Hale, a visitor at my Sixth Annual Backyard Celebration.
Gloriosa daisies (Rudbeckia hirta, Zones 3–7 however usually grown as an annual) and poppy (Papaver somniferum, annual) seed heads

My Zen bell was constructed by a steel artist from recycled steel.
A snake department spruce (Picea abies ‘Virgata’, Zones 2–7) is simply behind my Zen bell.
Daylilies (Hemerocallis, Zones 3–9), rudbeckia, and miscellaneous flowers
A guitarist/singer performed lovely music underneath the gazebo.
